Job Description Summary
We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Cat Colony Care Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is essential in maintaining the health and well-being of our cat colony by ensuring a clean, safe, and enriching environment. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals, is attentive to their needs, and values creating a sanitary and organized habitat for them.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep and mop floors in cat housing areas to maintain a clean environment.
- Provide daily meals by feeding wet food and replenishing dry food.
- Refresh water bowls to ensure constant access to fresh water.
- Empty, wash, and refill litterboxes for optimal hygiene.
- Replace any soiled bedding with fresh, clean linens to promote comfort and cleanliness.
- Observe the general well-being of the cats and promptly report any health or behavior concerns to the Nursing Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Hours: Saturdays through Tuesdays (flexible on specific days) 8am - 11am or 9am - 12pm
